A great opportunity has arisen for a Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join our central Research and Development team based in Paris on a 12 month fixed term contract. With 2.4 billion Euros sales and 15 000 employees in 37 countries, Aliaxis is an international industrial group producing plastic products for the construction industry.

Reporting directly to the R&D Engineer with knowledge of water analyses and an understanding of physical, chemical and biological processes you will:
  • Undertake research into the efficiency of wastewater treatment and products
  • Conduct wastewater sampling and analysis
  • Follow the ongoing experiments of SWTP used in non collective applications that are carried out on site
  • Identify new wastewater treatment techniques and products, and inform interested companies in the group

You will have:
  • A degree in Engineering or a Masters in Water Management and Wastewater Treatment.
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation and control with particular focus on engineering hydraulics, pumps and pumping systems
  • Good Interpersonal skills to work within a team of technicians and engineers
  • A methodical and organised approach to work
  • A strong interest in the practical aspects of the role

You will be required to work in both French and English and a good knowledge of German or Spanish would also be of benefit. In return you will receive and excellent salary and benefits.
